"These fine books are perfect for young adults to fabulous grandparents."
I am one of those women who returned to school when
it wasn't vogue for them to seek a higher education.

Formerly, I taught English and speech communication
at a high school in Ohio for seventeen years. While
teaching, I met many students suffering from a parents'
divorce, a separation from them, or an emotional
problem. This inspired me into writing a book about a
good nanny. I felt these children needed one. Hence,
Matilda entered my life. She and the characters that
surround her have taken over my life, but when it is time
to stop writing about Matilda's adventures, my dog Beau,
with his large brown eyes, steps in.
Beau is a sweet Boston Terrier with black and white
polka dots covering his stomach. He likes to travel to the
ocean, dig in the sand, and lick every stranger in his
range, so he keeps me in balance and tells me with
those enormous brown eyes when I should stop writing
and walk with him. What a dog! He's a must on my
menu and a serious writing companion.
